Very odd and retro!
I was down on W 8th Street and 6th Ave in the Village today when I noticed a sign lying on the sidewalk outside an empty storefront.
It said "Coloreds Only."

I often see subway performers, but I rarely see ones that are so amazing I can't stop staring. On the 6 train to Union Square today, 3 guys were hip-hop dancing that involved 2 of them joining hands and forming a human wheel, which they then rolled down the length of the train. The other one did multiple backflips. What amazed me is how few people looked up from their newspapers despite someone backflipping right in front of them. I really wish I had a camera then.
I saw a mother duck and 4 ducklings perched on a rock on the pond in Central Park this morning. It was so cute!
