Cashiering for PSA

Today, I used the work experience I had as a supermarket cashier in 1994 with my Master if Public Health to play a supermarket cashier in a public service announcement about preventing the flu.

Basically, a bunch of us acted in a supermarket in Wantaugh, Long Island at 6am (before the store opened) to show how flu can be spread anywhere among anyone, so get your flu shot!

And that's a wrap! Will it be paper or plastic?

Too much time(s) on their hands

Literally!

Today, two separate guys climbed up the New York Times building without a rope or harness. The building is 52 stories high!

Apparently, they each did it for a separate cause: one to bring awareness to global warming, the other for malaria.

All anyone can thin of is how sad and stupid it is to climb a building like that.
