Blue moon -- you saw me standing alone!

I saw a blue moon last night without knowing it. Here's why ....

A blue moon is the second full moon in a month. The name has nothing to do with the color.

So happy new year tro you, not-so-blue moon. I love the 1950s doo-wop song about you.

Quote of the day as you are on your way!

Last Monday, Dec 21,I was riding the Bx21 bus down to the East 180th Street Station at 3:39pm.

The bus driver had written on a whiteboard facing the passengers:

"Success comes in cans.

Failures come in can'ts."

The truest words I have ever seen written on a bus!

"He wants to steal it for his drag queen shows," deadpanned his female assistant.
